2008 Columbia Undergraduate Research Symposium Friday, February 1, 2008
Posted by Rahul Sengupta in : Research , comments closedIt is my pleasure to announce the call for abstracts for the 2008 Columbia Undergraduate Research Symposium. The symposium is sponsored by the Columbia Undergraduate Science Journal and is open to undergraduate students at tri-state-area universities who have conducted original and significant scientific research. Accepted abstracts will be selected for either talks or poster presentations, and all abstracts will be published and archived online.
The recommended deadline for abstract submission is Friday, February 15, and the final deadline is Friday, February 29. Participants will be notified regarding their presentation type by March 20. The symposium will take place on Sunday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Broadway Room of Lerner Hall on Columbia University’s Morningside Campus.

This year, the Draper Society will host its 4th annual Undergraduate Research Fair! The research fair is a poster session, with academic posters
presented by undergraduate researchers from all science departments.
Through this fair, underclassmen can learn about the many research
opportunities available at NYU. Students interested in presenting a
poster can contact Tim at tcb244@nyu.edu with their name, faculty
advisor, and department in which the research was performed. All
researching students are encouraged to participate!
