The Los Angeles County Office of Education is hiring! California is in the midst of a teacher shortage in the areas of math, science, English, and special education. The LACOE is eager to speak with members of the NYU community who have both an interest in teaching and in re-locating to the West Coast.
They will be holding interviews and information sessions on: Thursday and Friday April 3rd and 4th.
They will also be at the Minority Careers in Education Expo on: Saturday April 5th.

Research and Development Engineer Wanted
Xerox Corporation is seeking a scientist/engineer for research and development of advanced xerographic products.
Essential Job Function: Process development of film/sheet forming conductive materials for xerographic applications. Formulate conductive blends for casting or extrusion, including dispersion preparation and characterization. Build laboratory and pilot scales equipment to address manufacturability issues. The successful candidate must enjoy hands-on bench work and possesses good laboratory skills.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Plastic Engineering, Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science
- Good laboratory and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of polymer chemistry and polymer processing desirable
- Good communication skills
