Burt.jpgFaculty Advisor - Burt Goldbergburt@drapersociety.orgBurt Goldberg earned his Ph.D. from the Cardiff University’s School of Pure and Applied Biology. Previously a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at NYU, Dr. Goldberg was the Chairman of the Department of Biology at Saint Francis College. Abhinav is a junior majoring in Chemistry. He is currently working on organicchemistry research involving Peptoids. In the past, he has enjoyed working on a Molecular Gastronomy project making mango pearls for the New York Hall of Science.  

 

 Treasurer - Meagan Driver Meagan driver

Meagan is a sophomore majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Spanish and Mathematics. She will soon be starting research in a chemistry lab, studying the effects of chemicals on DNA. Some of her other interests are kickboxing, playing the piano, and crossword puzzles.

 

Secretary- Noelle CatarineuOriginally from Montgomery County, MD, Noelle is now a sophomore in the College of Arts and Science majoring in chemistry and Noelleminoring in Spanish.  She was drawn to chemistry for its ability to explain the world around us and its potential to aid society with new medicines and technology.  Currently, she is working on synthesizing transition metal based chiroptical molecular switches at NYU’s Laboratory of Molecular Recognition and Synthesis.  When not in the lab or studying chemistry, she enjoys going to concerts and music festivals.Webmaster - Rita Twan
