Mission Statement
The Draper Society exists to further understanding of the Chemical Sciences as a scientific discipline and its role in society at large. We want to not only be an organization of chemistry students, but also a community for anyone who has an interest in the Chemical Sciences. We wish to have a vital role in furthering scientific understanding amongst our non-science major peers and students in primary as well as secondary schools. To this end we wish to be a service society that aids students in furthering their understanding of the Chemical Sciences. We wish to go out amongst the community (High Schools and Elementary Schools) and tutor students and aid elementary school students in Science Fair projects. We wish to enrich the science education of these students.
