If yes, then you should come on the Draper Chemical Society’s tour of NYU’s chemistry labs and NYU’s Shared Instrumentation Facility (SIF).We will visit the chemistry labs of Profs. Canary and Arora on the third floor of Brown Building as well as the instrumentation room which is used by the chemistry and biology department in addition to researchers from the medical school and private biotech companies. Draper Society will give an overview of how these labs operate and of the instruments and machines located in the labs and the SIF. At all other times these areas are off limits to undergraduates, so take this opportunity to see NYU’s researchers in action.Following the tour pizza will be served.
