ACS National Chemistry Week 2009 Saturday, October 10, 2009
Posted by Abhinav Rohatgi in : Announcements , trackbackThe Draper Chemical Society has an annual tradition of participating in the ACS National Chemistry Week (NCW) Celebration at the NY Hall of Science in Queens. The NCW Celebration brings together students from colleges in the New York City area to perform simple experiments (provided by Draper Society) for children and their parents. The NYU students who participate always have a lot of fun, and to sweeten the deal, volunteers receive free admission to the NY Hall of Science, so you can spend time exploring before or after your shift.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday, 10/24/09. We will need volunteers to work one or more of the following shifts at the NYU table:
Shift 1 = 9-11 AM
Shift 2 = 11 AM-1 PM
Shift 3 = 1-3 PM
Shift 4 = 3-5 PM
