We are looking for Chemists, Chemical Engineers, BioChemists and related fields of study (environmental engineering, biology, environmental science/ studies, toxicology, forensic science, physics, biomedical engineering – they must have a minimum of 16 credits in chemistry, and must be a US citizen or have a working green card – student visa’s are not acceptable) . NYC DEP HazMat is the New York City leader in response to Hazardous Materials incidents. The NYC DEP HazMat Unit has the responsibility under the New York City CISM document to Identify, Mitigate and Enforce the City Hazardous Materials Laws at Hazardous Materials Incidents within the five Boroughs. NYC DEP HazMat is a unique group of Scientist, and engineers that help keep our City safe.
