Georgia Tech now offers a PhD Program in International Affairs, Science, and Technology.
If any of your undergraduate or masters students are interested in a pursuing a PhD at a program which specializes in S&T politics and licy, then please alert them of this new opportunity. Any science/engineering majors (especially those pursuing a political science, policy, or economics minor) would be a good fit for this program.
The department’s faculty includes political scientists, physicists, chemists, computer scientists, and policy experts from across a wide spectrum of issue areas and regional specialties. Students will also be encouraged to incorporate faculty from the various science & engineering departments at Georgia Tech into their dissertation committees.
We are looking for a few good women and men to comprise the student body of a relatively small, but elite, program. Our goal is to admit three to five outstanding candidates each year and to provide them with generous financial support during their studies at Georgia Tech. The ideal candidate has a background - or compelling interest - in a field of science and technology, and possesses the desire to explore issues at the nexus of science, technology, and international affairs.
