St. Francis College (NY) is pleased to host the 2008 Northeast Regional Meeting of the National Organization of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE). The conference is dedicated to expanding the horizons of science in many ways. At its core, NOBCChE is dedicated to promoting an increased interest among minority communities in the fields of chemistry and chemical engineering. However, this conference is aimed at expanding the mission and will include presentations in other fields such as Physics, Biology and Mathematics. Likewise, the conference is not just open to minorities but seeks to bring together scientists and students from all ethnicities and cultures.
