Summer Research Opportunity for NYU & Polytechnic Undergraduates Wednesday, April 2, 2008

The Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Academics announces a program that will support summer research opportunities of up to 25 undergraduate students. The selected students will have the opportunity to get involved in cutting-edge research with Poly faculty. The summer research internships will run for 10 weeks, June 16 - August 18 2008. The internships consist of a weekly stipend of $375 for the student ($3,750 for 10 weeks). Students who are interested in the program should submit the attached application form and a description of their objectives and goals, to Chrystanyaa Brown (cbrown@poly.edu) by May 1, 2008. All applications and supporting documents must be submitted via email.
The range of research projects in which students may participate in is quite extensive. Applicants are encouraged to learn about faculty doing research in their areas of interest and coordinate with their faculty summer research advisors. Partial listing of on-going research projects is attached.
Eligibility:
Eligible students must be a Polytechnic or NYU undergraduate student with at least 32 credits earned and have a minimum GPA of 3.2.
